Ingredients
Method
- Toss chicken with egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; then coat with cornstarch.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Arrange chicken in a single layer, spritz with oil, and air fry 12-15 minutes, flipping once, until crispy and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, combine orange juice, zest, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, garlic, and ginger in a pot; bring to a simmer, stir in cornstarch slurry, and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Toss hot chicken with sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately over rice, topped with scallions and sesame seeds.
Notes
The sauce can be made ahead and reheated. If you’re cooking in batches, keep finished chicken warm in a 200°F oven while you air fry the rest.
