Weight Gain Smoothie Recipe

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 1 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, frozen
  • 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder (about 30g)
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Add the milk, yogurt, banana, peanut butter, honey, and salt to a blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Add the rolled oats and protein powder. Pulse to combine, then blend on low for 20 seconds until thick and uniform, scraping down the sides if needed.
  3. Taste and adjust, then pour into a glass and drink immediately.

Notes

If you don’t have a frozen banana, drop in a few ice cubes to keep it cold. The smoothie is naturally thick; add a splash more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency. It’s best fresh but can be refrigerated overnight—shake with a little milk to revive it.
