- Whisk the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl.
- Pat the salmon dry, rub with sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper. Place skin side down on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Broil 6 inches from the heat for 4 to 5 minutes, until the edges turn opaque.
- Brush the fillets with half the glaze and broil 3 to 4 minutes more, until the glaze is bubbling and caramelized.
- Plate the salmon, spoon the remaining glaze and any pan drippings over the top, and garnish with green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
Salmon is best right out of the oven. For a saucier dish, double the glaze ingredients and reserve half to drizzle at the table. Leftover salmon can be flaked over salads or stirred into rice bowls.
