Ingredients
Method
- Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, about 5 minutes. Add butter, then scramble whisked eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until just set. Off heat, stir in cheese and sausage.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch round. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of filling into the center, seal edges firmly, and place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with seasoning.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18 to 22 minutes until deep golden brown and filling reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve warm.
Notes
The biscuit tops will be deep golden when done. These are best the day they’re made, but leftovers reheat well in a toaster oven. If you’d like to prep the filling ahead, it can be made and refrigerated up to a day in advance—stuff the biscuits cold for an even easier morning.
