- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Toss chicken tenders with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then spread in a single layer on the sheet.
- Bake for 16 to 18 minutes, flipping halfway, until the tenders reach 165°F and edges look lightly golden.
- Mix BBQ sauce and honey. Brush the sauce over the hot chicken, then broil on high for 2 to 3 minutes until bubbling and dark in spots, watching closely.
- Let the tenders rest 1 minute, then plate and serve with extra sauce or pan drippings.
Notes
If your chicken tenders are especially thick, add 2 to 3 minutes to the bake time and always check the thickest part with a thermometer. A rimmed baking sheet lined with foil makes cleanup much easier, as the sauce tends to caramelize hard on the pan.
