Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment. Cream the butter with both sugars for 2 minutes until light, then beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Add to the butter mixture in two additions, stirring just until combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries and white chocolate chips with a spatula, using a light hand to avoid smashing the berries.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers look just set.
- Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
If the dough is too soft to scoop neatly, chill it for 30 minutes before baking. The recipe works with fresh or frozen blueberries; if using frozen, do not thaw them before folding into the dough.
