- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, about 6 to 8 minutes. Stir in taco seasoning and salsa, simmer 2 minutes.
- Spread half the chips on a sheet pan, top with half the beef and cheese, then repeat with remaining chips, beef, and cheese.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and immediately top with diced tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, sour cream, and guacamole. Serve hot.
Notes
If the beef releases a lot of fat, drain it before adding the seasoning to avoid greasy chips. For an even quicker version, use leftover taco meat and skip the stovetop step.
