Ingredients
Method
- Keep rolls attached and slice horizontally through the whole block to separate top and bottom slabs.
- Mix butter with a pinch of salt, then spread evenly over the cut side of the bottom slab.
- Combine brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over the butter, and press gently to adhere. Cover with the top slab.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer rolls to a snug baking dish and bake 12 to 14 minutes until golden.
- Whisk powdered sugar, 1 tbsp milk, and vanilla until smooth, adding more milk for a thin ribbon. Drizzle over hot rolls and rest 3 minutes before serving.
Notes
If you want a little extra crunch, scatter 2 tbsp chopped pecans over the cinnamon sugar before closing up the rolls. For a thicker frosting, reduce the milk to just enough to make a spreadable paste and smear it on instead of drizzling.
