Ingredients
Method
- Pulse the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form with a few small lumps.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter with a hand mixer on medium until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos, powdered sugar, and vanilla until no dry streaks remain.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Scoop into bowls and top with reserved crumbs.
Notes
The dough tastes best after an overnight chill, which deepens the Oreo flavor. If you’ve made it ahead and it’s too firm to scoop, let it sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes. Use classic Oreos for the ideal texture; Double Stuf makes the dough greasy and hard to set.
