Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (21-30 count), peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Method

  1. Pat shrimp dry and toss with Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Let sit 5 minutes.
  2. Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  3. Place shrimp in a single layer and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Remove from heat, add remaining 1 tbsp butter, a squeeze of lemon, and parsley. Toss and serve.

Notes

Have all your ingredients ready before you start because the cooking goes fast. If you like a stronger lemon flavor, grate a little zest over the shrimp right before serving.
