Method
- Pull two shots of espresso or brew 1/2 cup strong coffee.
- In a heatproof mug, stir the brown sugar and cinnamon together.
- Warm and froth the oat milk in a saucepan over medium heat until hot, about 2 to 3 minutes, or use a frother heated to 150°F (65°C).
- Pour the hot espresso over the sugar mixture, stir in the vanilla and salt, then top with the frothed oat milk and a dusting of cinnamon.
Notes
Use a barista blend oat milk if you can find it; it has added stabilizers that create a thick, long-lasting foam. If making an iced version, dissolve the sugar in the hot espresso before pouring over ice.
