Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced Roma tomato
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp finely chopped dill pickle relish (sugar-free)

Method

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let the meat sear undisturbed for 2 minutes, then break it up and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, sugar-free ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish until smooth.
  3. Divide the shredded lettuce between two bowls. Top with the hot beef, tomato, red onion, pickle slices, and cheddar cheese. Drizzle the burger sauce over the bowls and serve immediately.

Nutrition numbers are estimates and will vary based on brands. For the cleanest carb count, use sugar-free ketchup and pickle relish with no added sugar.
