Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef, 80/20
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup diced white onion
  • ¼ cup dill pickle slices
  • ¼ cup sugar-free ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp dill pickle juice

Method

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, and cook, breaking up the meat, for 8 to 10 minutes until deeply browned.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar-free ketchup, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, and pickle juice until smooth.
  3. Divide the shredded lettuce among 4 bowls. Top with the hot beef, cheddar cheese, diced tomato, onion, and pickle slices. Drizzle with the burger sauce and serve right away.

Notes

This bowl is forgiving, so adjust the toppings and sauce to what you have on hand. If you want the cheese extra melty, you can return the beef to the hot skillet after draining, top it with the cheese, and cover for 30 seconds before assembling.
