Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) can refried beans
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1½ cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes, seeded and drained
  • ½ cup sliced black olives, drained
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

Method

  1. Spread the refried beans into an even layer in a 9x13-inch dish.
  2. Gently spread the guacamole over the beans in an even layer, without mixing.
  3. Stir the sour cream with the taco seasoning, then swirl the mixture over the guacamole.
  4. Top evenly with the cheese, tomatoes, olives, and green onions. Serve with chips or chill for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

The dip holds up well in the fridge for a couple of hours, but for the freshest look, add the tomatoes, olives, and green onions just before serving. If you chill it overnight, keep the toppings off until you’re ready to eat.
