- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, panko, egg, grated onion, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until just combined. Shape into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4 to 5 minutes, until deeply golden on the bottom.
- Flip and cook another 4 to 5 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Toast the buns, then build the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve hot.
Notes
The mixture is soft, so damp hands make shaping easier. For extra-moist patties, avoid pressing them down with a spatula while they cook.
