- Toss salmon cubes with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Let sit while you heat the skillet.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon in a single layer for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden and just cooked through.
- Lower heat to medium-low. Add honey, hot sauce, vinegar, garlic, and butter to the pan. Stir until melted, then toss salmon in the glaze for about 1 minute until glossy and thickened.
- Spoon onto a plate or over rice and serve right away.
Notes
For a thicker glaze, let the honey mixture bubble for an extra 30 seconds before adding the salmon back. The bites are best enjoyed fresh; leftovers will soften in the fridge but reheat well in a skillet.
