Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 oz lump crabmeat
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan

Method

  1. Beat cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire, hot sauce, Old Bay, and garlic powder until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the crabmeat, most of the cheddar, and most of the green onions.
  3. Transfer to a baking dish, top with remaining cheddar and Parmesan, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly.
  4. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes until golden, then top with remaining green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

Pick through the crabmeat for any shell pieces before mixing. If you assemble the dip ahead and chill it, add a few extra minutes to the bake time. Serve right from the hot dish while the cheese is still stretchy.
