- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the frozen corn, spread into a single layer, and cook undisturbed for about 3 minutes until the bottom kernels are golden.
- Drizzle the honey over the corn, add the salt and black pepper, and toss. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is glossy and heated through.
- Spoon the corn into a serving bowl and taste, adding more salt or pepper as needed. Serve hot.
Notes
Frozen corn works wonderfully here, no thawing needed. If you use fresh kernels, they brown faster so reduce the first cooking time by about a minute. Serve right away for the best texture; this dish loses its crisp-to-chewy contrast as it sits.
