Ingredients
Method
- Whisk the dry ingredients together, then stir in the yogurt and melted butter until a shaggy dough forms. Knead briefly until smooth.
- Cover the dough with a towel and rest for 5 minutes. Divide into 4 equal balls.
- Roll each ball on a lightly floured surface into an oval about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a dry skillet over medium-high, cook each naan 2 minutes per side until charred spots appear, and brush with garlic butter while hot.
Notes
For best texture, use a gluten-free flour blend that already contains xanthan gum. If yours does not, add 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum to the dry ingredients. Keep cooked naan covered with a towel to trap steam and stay soft.
