Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment. Stir cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla in a large bowl until a thick dough forms.
- Drop rounded tablespoon-sized mounds onto the prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart. Press extra chips into the tops if using.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are set and lightly golden; centers will look slightly underdone. Let cookies rest on the sheet for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a wire rack and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
If the dough seems too stiff or crumbly, add a teaspoon of milk at a time until it holds together. Overbaking will push these from chewy to crunchy, so trust the 5-minute carryover heat on the sheet.
