Ingredients
Method
- Cook linguine in salted boiling water until just shy of al dente, drain, and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Melt 2 tbsp butter with olive oil in a large skillet, cook garlic and red pepper flakes for 1 minute, then add wine and lemon juice and simmer 2–3 minutes. Stir in remaining butter, season with salt and pepper.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2–3 minutes total. Remove from heat, toss with pasta and 1/4 cup reserved pasta water.
- Transfer to a buttered 9x13-inch dish, top with Parmesan and panko mixed with a drizzle of oil, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Rest 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Let the baked pasta sit for 5 minutes before serving so it sets a little and makes scooping easier. The shrimp cook gently in the oven, so don’t push the bake time much longer or they can turn chewy.
