Ingredients
Method
- Scoop ice cream into 4 balls, freeze on a parchment-lined plate for at least 2 hours until rock hard.
- Crush cornflakes into fine crumbs; mix with sugar and cinnamon.
- Dip frozen balls in beaten egg white, roll in crumb mixture, pressing to coat fully. Freeze 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 inch of oil in a deep pan to 375°F. Fry one ball at a time for 20-30 seconds, turning until golden. Drain briefly.
- Serve immediately drizzled with honey or chocolate, topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
Notes
The prep time is hands-on only; you'll need at least 2 hours and 15 minutes of freezing time total. For the best shell, make sure the ice cream is absolutely rock hard before frying.
