Ingredients
Method
- Roll the oranges firmly on the counter for 30 seconds each, then slice in half crosswise.
- Juice the halved oranges using a manual or electric citrus juicer until you have about 2 cups of juice, pressing firmly to release all the pulp.
- Strain through a mesh strainer for pulp-free juice, if desired, or leave as is; pour into ice-filled glasses and serve right away.
Notes
For the brightest flavor, use ripe oranges at room temperature. If you want a slightly sweeter glass, stir in a teaspoon of honey while the juice is fresh, but taste it first because good oranges rarely need any help.
