- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment. Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt until just combined. Fold in oats and raisins. Dough will be stiff.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough 2 inches apart on the sheet. Flatten each mound slightly.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers look slightly underdone.
- Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
If your dough feels too soft, chill it for 10 minutes before scooping. The cookies firm up as they cool, so do not overbake. Let them rest on the sheet the full 5 minutes.
