- Whisk the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl until combined.
- Place chicken in the slow cooker, pour the sauce over, cover, and cook on HIGH for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Remove chicken, shred it, and return the pieces to the pot.
- Stir the cornstarch slurry and broccoli into the slow cooker, cover, and cook on HIGH for 25 to 30 minutes until the sauce thickens and broccoli is crisp-tender.
- Serve over rice, topped with green onions and sesame seeds if using.
Notes
If you prefer the low setting, cook the chicken on LOW for 3 to 4 hours, then continue with the broccoli step on HIGH as written. The rice is not included in the nutrition numbers; add about 200 calories per cup of steamed white rice if you serve it that way.
