Ingredients
Method
- Place the corn in the crockpot in a single layer and pour 1/4 cup water around the ears.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, until the corn is tender and the husks pull back from the tips.
- Remove with tongs, let cool slightly, peel back the husks, remove the silk, brush with butter and salt, and serve hot.
Notes
The husks and silk come off easily after cooking. If your corn is large, you may need to add 30 minutes to the cook time. For a smaller batch (4 ears or less), use a smaller slow cooker and reduce water to 2 tablespoons.
