Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Set a wire rack in a baking sheet and mist with cooking spray.
- Set up flour, egg, and a mixture of panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in three bowls. Dredge each thigh in flour, then egg, then press into panko. Place on the wire rack.
- Spray tops with oil and bake 22 to 25 minutes until golden and the thickest part reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Melt butter and mix with hot sauce and honey to make the buffalo sauce.
- Toss the hot baked chicken in the sauce until coated and serve immediately.
Notes
If your thighs are on the larger side, pound them to an even thickness before breading. A few minutes of resting before serving is fine, but the crust is loudest right after you toss it with the sauce.
