Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 to 2 jalapeños
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Crackers or toasted baguette slices for serving

Method

  1. Pulse cranberries, sugar, jalapeños, green onions, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a food processor until finely chopped, about 10 to 12 pulses. Let sit 5 minutes.
  2. Spread softened cream cheese into an even layer on a serving plate, about a half-inch thick.
  3. Spoon the cranberry mixture over the cream cheese and serve right away, or chill up to 30 minutes before serving with crackers.

Notes

For the best texture, serve the dip soon after assembling. If making ahead, keep the relish and cream cheese separate and combine them just before your guests arrive.
