- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Press one can of crescent dough into the bottom, sealing seams. Bake for 5 minutes.
- Beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla just until combined.
- Spread the filling over the crust. Unroll the second can of dough on top, press down gently. Brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and the center is slightly jiggly. Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 20 minutes, then slice into squares.
Notes
For the cleanest cuts, chill the cooled bars for at least 1 hour before slicing. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
