Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie plate. Whisk melted butter with both sugars until glossy. Whisk in eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms, about 30 seconds.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Press dough into the pie plate and bake 30 to 35 minutes, until golden and edges are set with a slight center jiggle.
- Cool 10 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
Let the pie rest for 10 minutes before slicing; it cuts cleaner and won’t fall apart. For a firmer center, bake an extra 5 to 7 minutes, but the pie will lose some of its gooey charm. Wipe the knife between slices for neat pieces.
