Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method

  1. In a bowl or resealable bag, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic, and honey until the honey dissolves.
  2. Add 1 lb chicken tenders, turn to coat, cover, and refrigerate 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Cook chicken on a grill, in a hot skillet, or on a baking sheet at 400°F until internal temp reaches 165°F (about 4 to 5 minutes per side on the stovetop or 15 to 18 minutes in the oven, flipping once). Serve hot.

Notes

Reserve a couple spoonfuls of marinade before adding raw chicken if you want a sauce. Any used marinade must be boiled for 5 minutes before reusing. If baking, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
