- Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, vegetables, soup, broth, milk, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper; pour into the dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the biscuit mix, sour cream, milk, and melted butter until a thick, sticky dough forms.
- Drop the dough by large spoonfuls over the chicken mixture, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling bubbles.
- Let rest 5 minutes, then scoop and serve hot.
Notes
If the filling looks too thin after baking, let it rest a bit longer. The biscuit topping will soften as it sits; reheat leftovers in the oven to crisp them up again.
