- Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat, about 2 to 3 minutes, until liquid but not sizzling.
- Remove from heat, add hot sauce, garlic powder, and honey, and whisk vigorously for 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
- Pour over hot cooked chicken wings in a large bowl and toss until every wing is well coated. Serve immediately.
Notes
The sauce holds its emulsion best when whisked off the heat. If you want to use it for dipping instead of coating, let it cool for a few minutes so it thickens slightly.
