Ingredients
Method
- Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Grease a 6-inch round cake pan. Stir wet ingredients into dry just until combined, then scrape batter into the pan and smooth the top.
- Place pan in the air fryer basket and cook at 320°F for 10 minutes. Check with a toothpick; if needed, cook in 2-minute increments up to 14 minutes until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Cool in the pan for 2 minutes, then run a knife around the edge, turn out, slice into wedges, and serve warm.
Notes
If your air fryer runs hot, check a minute early; the pancake is done when a toothpick comes out clean. I like to let the batter sit for 5 minutes before pouring it into the pan for an extra-soft crumb, but it’s not required.
