Ingredients
Method
- Press the tofu for 10 to 15 minutes, cut into 1-inch cubes, and toss with cornstarch, salt, pepper, and oil.
- Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway, until deep golden and crisp.
- While the tofu bakes, whisk together the mayonnaise, sriracha, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Toss the hot baked tofu with the sauce, transfer to a platter or bowls, and top with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Notes
Pressing the tofu longer than 15 minutes dries it out even more and gives you a slightly crisper finish, but 10 minutes is enough for a weeknight. If you want to get ahead, press and cube the tofu the night before and store it in the fridge.
