Baked Caesar Chicken Recipe

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 to 8 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken dry, season lightly with salt and pepper, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir the Caesar dressing, Parmesan, panko, and lemon juice into a thick paste.
  3. Spread the topping evenly over each breast, covering the top completely.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the crust is golden and the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) inside.
  5. Rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

If your chicken breasts are very plump, pound them to an even thickness before seasoning so they cook uniformly. The 5 minute rest after baking is not included in the cook time but makes a big difference for juicy slices.
