Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with the olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  2. Arrange the steak in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5 minutes, shake the basket, then cook 3 to 5 minutes more until the internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium-rare.
  3. While the steak cooks, melt the butter with the minced garlic in a small pan over low heat until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Transfer the hot steak bites to a bowl, pour the garlic butter over, add the parsley, and toss to coat. Serve immediately.

Notes

If your air fryer runs hot, check a minute early. Carryover cooking will raise the internal temperature a few degrees as the bites rest, so pull them just shy of your target.
