Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • 12 medium jalapeno peppers
  • 12 slices thin-cut bacon

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
  2. Halve and seed the jalapenos, then fill each half with the cheese mixture.
  3. Cut bacon slices in half and wrap one piece around each stuffed pepper half, tucking ends underneath.
  4. Place peppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook 7 to 8 minutes until bacon is crisp.
  5. Let cool 1 minute on paper towels, then serve hot with ranch or blue cheese.

Notes

Thin bacon is worth hunting down because it wraps easily and crisps fully in the time it takes the filling to heat through. If all you have is regular bacon, stretch each half slice a little with the back of a knife before wrapping, and expect to add a minute or two to the cook time.
