Ingredients

  • 1 lb shelf-stable potato gnocchi
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or spray oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if needed. Toss gnocchi with oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly coated.
  2. Arrange coated gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid crowding.
  3. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket at the 5-minute mark, until deeply golden and crisp.
  4. Tip into a serving bowl and toss immediately with parmesan and fresh herbs. Serve right away.

Notes

If your air fryer basket tends to stick, give it a quick spritz of oil before adding the gnocchi. The gnocchi will soften slightly as they cool, so serve them the moment they come out of the basket for the best crunch.
