Ingredients
Method
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Pat steaks dry, rub with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Place steaks in the air fryer basket with space between them. Cook for 8 minutes, flipping after 4 minutes, until an instant-read thermometer reaches 120°F for rare or 125°F for medium-rare.
- Top each steak with a butter cube, a garlic clove, and a rosemary sprig. Cook for 2 minutes more until butter melts and garlic is fragrant.
- Transfer steaks to a cutting board and rest 5 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve with the buttery drippings spooned over the top.
Notes
If your steaks are thicker than 1½ inches, add 1 to 2 minutes to the initial 8-minute cook time before checking the temperature. A meat thermometer is the most accurate way to guarantee doneness.
