- Combine flour, seasoned salt, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper in a shallow bowl. Whisk buttermilk and egg in another. Put panko in a third. Pat chicken dry, dredge in flour, then buttermilk, then coat in panko.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Place breaded tenders in a single layer in the basket, then mist with olive oil spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until deeply golden and the internal temperature hits 165°F.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For the crispiest results, let the breaded tenders rest for 5 minutes before cooking so the coating sets. Store leftovers refrigerated up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes.
