Ingredients
Method
- In a small bowl, stir together the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Toss the chicken, peppers, and onion with the olive oil and spice blend until evenly coated.
- Grease the air fryer basket, spread the mixture in an even layer, and air fry at 400°F for 8 minutes. Toss, then continue air frying 3 to 4 minutes more until the chicken reaches 165°F and the vegetables are charred.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or over a gas flame. Spoon the hot fajita filling into the tortillas, squeeze lime juice over the top, and serve immediately.
Notes
If your air fryer basket is small, cook the mixture in two batches to get a good char instead of steaming. All air fryers run a little differently, so start checking the chicken a minute or two early until you know your machine’s timing.
