Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Mix flour, 1/2 tsp salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow dish. Beat eggs in a second dish. Toss panko with remaining 1/2 tsp salt in a third dish.
- Pat chicken dry. Dredge each tender in flour, then egg, then press into panko to coat well. Place on a plate.
- Arrange tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray tops with cooking spray. Cook 5 minutes, flip, spray again, and cook 4-5 minutes more until golden and 165°F inside.
- Let rest 1 minute, then serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Preheat the air fryer fully for the best crunch, and do not skip the cooking spray. If your tenders are on the small side, check for doneness about a minute early so they stay extra juicy.
