- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings completely dry, then toss with the baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, and continue cooking another 12 to 15 minutes until deeply golden and crisp.
- Whisk the hot sauce and melted butter in a large bowl, then toss the hot wings straight from the air fryer until evenly coated.
- Pile onto a platter, surround with celery sticks, and serve immediately with blue cheese or ranch for dipping.
Notes
If your air fryer runs hot, check a few minutes early. Wings that finish ahead of schedule will still be crisp; just hold them in a warm oven while the rest cook.
