Ingredients

  • 8 oz Parmigiano-Reggiano, broken into chunks
  • 1 (8 oz) ball burrata
  • 6 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 4 oz finocchiona or Genoa salami, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz mortadella, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mixed olives
  • ½ cup drained roasted red peppers
  • 1 (6 oz) jar artichoke hearts, drained and halved
  • 2 cups fresh grapes, figs, or berries
  • ¼ cup marcona almonds or toasted hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp honey, in a small bowl
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
  • 6 oz crostini or grissini breadsticks

Method

  1. Place the bowl of honey and any ramekins on the board. Arrange the Parm chunks and whole burrata in separate corners.
  2. Fold prosciutto into loose ribbons, fan the salami and mortadella, and tuck them near the cheeses.
  3. Scatter the peppers, artichoke hearts, fruit, and nuts, then drizzle balsamic glaze over the burrata and Parm. Arrange crostini or breadsticks along the edges and serve.

Notes

Let the burrata, Parm, and any other cheese sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before you start building the board. Cold cheeses don’t taste like much. Everything else can come straight from the fridge.
